UNTITLED

I was a pound and a half
I was very small
I couldn’t eat, not even breathe…
I was so small everyone thought I was going to die
I was so small I couldn’t fit on my mother’s hand
I was so small my bed used to be a shoe box
I was so small no one thought I was going to grow
But one thing I will never forget is that people never believed in me and only one person believed so much that she was able to raise me to be the woman I am today
I am so glad my mother never gave up
Because today
I am not small anymore
I am so big I can touch the sky
I am so big I can mobilize
I am so big I can help whomever I want
I am so big that my abilities don’t lie
I am so big my power has no limit, a limit that no one except God can see
And how do I know that because
I realized that the word “We” is endless
And more powerful than “I”
